The Literary Calendar 2020 is here – UPDATE: Last Chance!

With Twelfth Night and Epiphany now behind us, we will be taking the Literary Advent Calendar offline on 9 January. If you have not listened to last year’s spectacular readings yet, be sure to click on the little Santa before time runs out!

ORIGINAL ENTRY:

We are happy to host the Literary Advent Calendar 2020 for the English department of Eberhard Karls University Tübingen. “When shall we meet again?” With Christmas approaching, this question seems more prevalent than ever: This year, many family gatherings and communal celebrations will be smaller than usual, and others might only take place in digital form. This is why our literary advent calendar for 2020 is all about togetherness. Every day in December leading up to Christmas, a student or staff member of the English Seminar will read out a literary text – a poem, a prose extract, or even a dramatic piece – about fellowship and community. Just click on the little Santa on the right! We hope you’ll find good company in these literary treats as we unveil them day by day.
